Are you wanting to increase foot traffic to your retail bottle shop or your restaurant at your pub?
Facebook has a great ad objective called ‘Store Visits’ that will help you do just that!
The Store Visits Ad Objective
Store visits is an ad objective available to anyone with a location structure set up on Facebook. You can choose this objective to reach people around your store using ad formats, audience interest targeting and calls to action designed to drive customers into your store.
Imagine that it is Friday afternoon and a group of friends are deciding where to eat that night. They see an ad for your restaurant at your pub that is close to them. All the information they need, like your opening hours, contact details and directions are there without having to leave your ad or the Facebook app.
So how does it work?
With the store visits objective, we can reach customers when they’re close to your venue by specifying an area around your hotel. We can select different boundary types, like a fixed-distance radius like 2kms, for example, or match specific suburbs. As people in the area of your business scroll through their News Feed on Facebook, they can see an ad that we create regarding your venue. It is delivered to them while they are in close proximity so they are most likely to take action.
The store visits objective offers a variety of creative formats including image, video, slideshow and carousel. You can use different calls to action like “Get Directions” CTA, where after clicking on the button people will be taken to a map. Other CTAs include “Call Now,” allowing the person to call your business, or “Send Message” allowing them to message your Page.
The calls to action makes it easy for them to take action and visit your store.
